Alarm Monitoring
The first step in preventing failures in critical communication
networks is predicting trouble before a shutdown. Remote alarm
monitoring of your PBX can provide an early warning of impending
trouble.
When an alarm is received, our network will first
attempt to clear the alarm electronically. If this proves
unsuccessful, we will notify your on-site service personnel or service
provider via beeper, telefax, IP, or voice of the date, time, location
and nature of the trouble. Our monitoring of the trouble continues
until the alarm is cleared.
We have the capability to monitor any PBX, voice
mail or call management system using the IP capabilities of the PBX,
external device via IP, or modem dial out. We offer a seamless
interface with customer voice and data networks for in-house or
outside service providers.
Web based alarm history by severity and location
reporting is available to our customers in standard spreadsheet
formats for easy analysis. This provides a basis for service cost
reduction by identifying and correcting the sources of failures. Also,
by identifying the most frequent faults, an organization can take
proactive measures in preventing such failures.
PBX inventory tracking and reconciliation
assures a record of all components in the system and can be used to
identify surplus assets.
PBX feature and configuration tracking assures
proper adherence to corporate configuration policies. Violations from
standard feature assignment and configuration are reported as soft
alarms or provides as exception in the monthly reports.
This entire suite of services is included in our
standard Remote Alarm Monitoring package.
